高温真空脱气处理对微细B4C粉末特性的影响

摘 要: 研究高温真空脱气处理对微细B4C粉末在Mg-Li合金中润湿性能的影响。采用X线衍射(XRD)、氧含量分析法以及扫描电镜(SEM)等检测方法分析脱气前后粉末特性的变化。通过液态熔浸实验表征脱气处理前、后金属Li与B4C之间润湿性的差异。研究结果表明:B4C粉末存在明显的脱气现象;当温度低于600 ℃时,脱去的主要是以物理方式、化学方式吸附的气体;在600~700 ℃,B4C粉末的脱气量最大,主要为粉末制备过程中残留下来的单质C与B2O3反应后生成的CO;脱气处理后,粉末中氧含量(质量分数)由1.09%降低为0.79%,粉末表面的洁净程度更好;真空脱气处理有助于金属Li与B4C粉末之间润湿过程的进行。

Effect of high temperature vacuum degassing manage on
speciality of minuteness B4C powder

Abstract:The effect of the degassing treatment of B4C powder at high temperature on wettability of the melting Mg-Li alloy to the micron B4C powder was investigated. The related properties were also studied. Through infiltrating experiment, the difference of wetting ability of liquid lithium from B4C pressuring lump was revealed. The results show that there is an obvious phenomenon of gas degassing for B4C powder at high temperature. Below 600 ℃, the desorption gas mainly comes from the gas that was absorbed by physical and chemical mode. Between 600 and 700 ℃, there is a large amount of desorption gas, which is mainly CO that comes from the reaction of residual elementary carbon and B2O3 in the preparation of B4C powder. The oxygen content of B4C powder reduces from 1.09% to 0.79%, and the surface of B4C powder becomes cleaner. The infiltrating experiment indicates that the vacuum degassing treatment can improve the wettability of liquid lithium to B4C pressuring lump.
